Metropol Parasol

When I saw the article of the finished Metropol Parasol I was speechless. It's the most beautiful structure i've ever seen and one of my top 5 places I need to visit in my next trip to Europe. It's located in Plaza Encarnación Sevilla, Spain.
It was created by J. Mayer H. Architects and this project has become the new icon for cultural destinations. It's the world's largest wooden structure and has a variety of activities, like an archaeological museum, farmers market, an elevated plaza and different bars and restaurants.

Realized as one of the largest and most innovative bonded timber-constructions with a polyurethane coating, the parasols grow out of the archaeological excavation site into a contemporary landmark, defining a unique relationship between the historical and the contemporary city.” J.
